Enjoy this 40 acre sanctuary of riparian forest, cradled by Smoko and Homeward Bound Creeks. A harbour for blue gum, manna, mountain swamp gum in the wet gullies, and drooping sheoaks and peppermints on the dry faces. You will see that the cabin nestled amongst the north east border of ‘Smoko Bowl’ - a natural unique catchment feature, offering harbour to flora and fauna.
Sleeping - Sleeps 2 in the master bedroom, + 1 single optional fold out in main room
Pets - Dogs are okay. Sorry, cats are not allowed. Wildlife has right of way, so please restrain your dog, particularly throughout the night..
Power - Stand alone solar with a generator backup. When the sun is high, power is more than adequate for standard amenities and a modern battery bank will offer humble living in throughout the evening. During winter and shoulder seasons, a pushbutton start generator quickly tops up the batteries for use.
Heating and cooling - Choose between wood or gas heaters for winter, ceiling fans with portable evaporative cooling for summer. Wood is supplied for your first few nights.
Access - The large flat area close to the house provides a perfect place to set up a camper trailer however access to the property over a private bridge may prove unsuitable for longer traditional caravans. Contact for further details and measurements.
